IronMAX DUO 1600

Power and Efficiency in a Compact Design

Introducing Lapauw’s latest innovation: the IronMAX DUO 1600 steam-heated ironer. In this laundry facility, it proudly replaces an older Lapauw IronClassic 3-roll 1200 model that was previously used for drying roller towels.

Despite having one less roll and occupying 1.5 meters (5 ft) less floor space, the IronMAX DUO 1600 achieves an impressive speed of 27.5 m/min—nearly matching the 28 m/min output of the older 3-roll 1200.

This remarkable performance is made possible by Lapauw’s hinged chest design and a 1-meter bridge, which maximize heat transfer and efficiency. Each chest on the 1600 features 10 individual, parallel steam circuits, while each bridge is equipped with 5 steam circuits.

The result? The IronMAX DUO 1600 delivers output comparable to a traditional 3-roll 1200 ironer—offering a more compact, efficient, and modern solution.
